Our client is a leading designer and builder of swimming ponds and natural swimming pools who is looking for a qualified designer with 3-5 years' working experience to cover a period of maternity leave for one year.

You will be required to work on all stages of the project from initial site visit, concept design, detailed design, cost estimates, project management and maintenance organisation. The work will be diverse, coordinating several projects at different stages at the same time. You will be communicating with our in-house construction team and also with external designers and contractors on a regular basis.

On the design side proficiency in AutoCAD (LT 2010+) and the ability to produce hand drawn sketches are essential. Good knowledge of Excel is needed for cost estimates and project management, and you will also be writing design consultation reports in Word following site visits. A hands-on approach and good communication skills, especially over the phone, is essential.
A full driver's licence is required for customer and site visits.
